Microchip helps reunite elderly Cambridgeshire cat with relieved owner

The Ely branch recently assisted one of our supporters in reuniting a 15 year old cat with his very relieved owner. The missing moggy had been seen in a garden in Burwell for several weeks and was obviously very hungry. Once trapped, he was whisked off to the vets where he was scanned for a microchip. Ely Cats Protection Cat Show and Homing Day success

The Ely branch held their annual Pet Cat Show and Homing Day at Little Downham Village Hall on Saturday, raising hundreds of pounds for the branch.The annual event, the 22nd in the branch's history, saw every cat in the homing section adopted; a first for the event.
